Tell us about the work you do. How did you wind up here?

My team and I help small, family-owned industrial manufacturers grow through marketing. I got here by making sails for sailboats in college and have been in manufacturing in some way, shape or form my entire career.

What did you want to be when you were a little kid? How does that play into the work you do now?

I wanted to be a nurse, but I learned, after dissecting an animal in college, that I couldn’t handle the sight of blood. I became an English major because I love reading, and went on to get my masters degree in English Literature. Today, I use all of my research, analytical and writing skills to help my clients grow their businesses.

What problems do you solve for your clients?

I help them get more leads through better positioning and marketing. I also help them attract skilled labor with professionally designed and written websites.

On my bicycle riding the back roads.

Raising my son while growing my business. I started my business when he was 12 months old. He’s now 21 and off on his own working and finishing his final year in college.
